UBM acquires the IDMF and ECDM from Reed Exhibitions

London, 29 July 2008. UBM’s Live Media Division, organisers of the Internet World, Technology For Marketing & Advertising and Call Centre Expo exhibitions, is pleased to announce its acquisition today of the International Direct Marketing Fair (IDMF) and Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Expo (ECDM) from Reed Exhibitions.
The IDMF has had its challenges in recent years with both visitor and exhibitor attendance, and the proposed launch of ECDM has not been well supported by prospective exhibitors. Given the current position of these events and the strong portfolio of multi-award winning products already run by UBM’s Live Media division, it has been decided that customers will be better served by incorporating both the IDMF and ECDM into Internet World, Technology For Marketing & Advertising and Call Centre Expo.
